A painter for all of Amsterdam

Amsterdam is a city of very different homes, and each one asks something different of a painter. We know the difference and we work across the whole city. Here are a few of the areas we cover.

Canal belt and Jordaan

Monumental houses with high ceilings and original woodwork, often in a protected cityscape. Here it comes down to a clean finish and respect for the old detail.

De Pijp and Oud-West

The 19th-century upper and ground-floor flats, with plenty of window frames, doors and trim. Exactly the work we're good at.

Oud-Zuid and the Rivierenbuurt

Much-loved 1930s homes in the Amsterdam School style, with panel doors and lovely woodwork. From a single room to the whole house.

Nieuw-West and Zuidoost

Post-war flats and porch homes. A room, the ceiling or the whole apartment freshened up, for a price you know in advance.

IJburg, Noord and the Docklands

New builds with large, flat walls going into paint for the first time. Quick and neat, a fresh colour throughout the home.

And the towns around it

We also come to Amstelveen, Diemen and Ouder-Amstel, where a lot of internationals live. Work out your price and you'll see it straight away.

Work out your estimate in thirty seconds

Most painter sites in Amsterdam make you leave your details, after which three to five companies call you and you only find out the cost weeks later. We do it differently. You pick your job, fill in your measurements (a rough guess is fine) and you see an honest estimate right away, paint and prep included. Then we come round for free, measure everything and give you one fixed price. Only when you want to, you leave your details to book.

The price tool is still in Dutch for now, but it's mostly numbers and pictures, so it's easy to follow. Rather do it in English? Send me a WhatsApp and I'll walk you through it.

What's included in the price?

With us the price you see is the price you pay. Everything is in there: the paint and the primer, the prep work and masking, leaving it clean and getting there. No separate items, no extra charges afterwards. And the work is done by our own steady crew, not by changing subcontractors you've never met.

No waiting on quotes

You know how it goes: you ask for one price and you get called for three weeks. We don't do that. You see an honest estimate upfront, materials included. Then we come round for free, measure everything and give you one fixed price. You only pay once the job is done and you're happy. That's how simple we want to keep it.

Frequently asked questions about a painter in Amsterdam

What does a painter cost in Amsterdam?

It depends on the job. Painting a room starts at around 295 euros with us, a whole living room with the woodwork included sits around 1,900 euros. Most painters in Amsterdam give you a rough price per hour or per square metre, and a real quote only after a visit. With us you get an honest estimate in thirty seconds, paint and materials included. Then we come round for free and turn it into one fixed price.

Which areas of Amsterdam do you cover?

All of Amsterdam. From the monumental canal houses in the centre and the Jordaan and the 1930s homes in Oud-Zuid and the Rivierenbuurt, to the new builds on IJburg and in Noord and the post-war flats in Nieuw-West and Zuidoost. We also cover the towns around it, like Amstelveen, Diemen and Ouder-Amstel.

Do I have to speak Dutch?

No, English is completely fine. We're happy to handle everything in English, from your first message to the finished job. Just send a WhatsApp and we'll guide you through it.

Do you charge call-out costs in Amsterdam?

Amsterdam is a bit further from our base, so for most jobs there's a small travel cost. The nice part is that you see it in your price straight away, before you agree to anything. No separate call-out fees that show up on the bill afterwards, you know exactly where you stand.

Is the paint included in the price?

Yes. Everything is in the price with us: paint, primer, prep work, masking and getting there. The price you see is the price you pay, nothing gets added afterwards.

Do I see what it costs upfront?

You get an instant estimate online. For the fixed price we come round for free, measure everything and confirm it with you. You only pay once the job is done.
